Occitana arrives in Fontfroide and proves a hit!

This weekend I took part in La Fête des Plantes et l'Artisanat d'Art at Fontfroide. I had a great weekend meeting up not only with some talented artists like Céline Cassiède from Terre à l'horizon but also making some great new contacts and positive sales.
My new Occitania range was a huge success. This range is based upon the Mokume Gane technique in polymer clay coupled with some secret textures. Pendants & earrings are then mounted on sterling silver or gold filled wire. The prices are slightly higher than my Lily range but that didn't put off buyers.
My stand was also a plus point for me - I opted to set-up in the form of a U rather than just a straight table. This meant that clients entered into the boutique-stand rather than just walking past a table front. A definite point to remember for any future exhibitions where space allows for it.
- Occitana is a great name for a collection! I am so pleased you sold well. Here's a tip from a pal who sells online. When she has a show, she makes sure she puts pictures of the work on Etsy and gives her Etsy shop address to everyone who comes by the stand. If they liked your work but weren't in a buying mood, they might become one of your Etsy customers later when the mood lifts or an occasion arises. It's easier to buy off the Internet if you've seen the work "in the flesh."
I like your half-moon shapes. They must be very flattering on the body and exude joie de vivre! I looked up Celine and she does fabulous work! Good find!
Bisous - Lunes, I like Mokume Mauve Occitania. The combination of the two textures in the piece gives it a touch of distinction.
Great idea to distribute the stand as a U.
I’m pleased that sales were good
- Lunes, your Occitania is luscious! What glorious colors! Keep on amazing us.

Lunes Bijoux - inspired by the Corbières vines, le Marin from the Mediterranean and of course la Tramontagne winds!
