Hello all,

I have joined Voila recently and would like to say hello to everyone out there.. I am an intermediate (??) level polymer artist...well, I can't really call myself an artist as I have no formal training in art at all.... but I have been working in polymer for about three and a half years and I find I get twitchy if I don't get to make something every few weeks or so at least.  I dabble in other mediums like knitting and metal work (cold connections) but something about polymer always draws me in... I am currently taking the Hollow Bead course and loving it! What great ideas are out there.....  I posted a few photos of my work in the gallery- a mishmash of sorts, but I wanted to post only things that are my own creations, rather than the products of tutorials or classes....  My goal for 2012 is to learn to develop more of my OWN creative spark....

Regards,

Lynn S.

Hi Lynn, welcome to Voila! and thank you for joining. We are all artists in the sense that we all have something to communicate. Some of us have just more experience in identifying what it is we want to say and how we want to say it. So yes, you are an artist! Don't hesitate to combine your metal work and knitting with pc. I hope that the work posted on this site will help you in your journey into developing your own creative spark. The body of work shows the scope and versatility of the medium. There are still so many stones unturned as far as it goes! Thank you for joining.

Hello all, I am glad to join this community! I am an intermediate polymer clay artist and have been working in this medium for about three and a half years. I am not formally trained in art, as my education is in veterinary medicine....
