Description: Faux stone slab intersecting hollow polymer dome; circled by thick aluminum wire; embellished with "glazed brads" (scrapbooking accessory). This piece was inspired by the Lapidary Journal cover article in Jan. 2010 on "Silver in Quartz," a manmade material. Secondary inspiration: TV series "Meteorite Men." I made this pendant for the online "Year of Jewelry" project. 2 3/4" x 2" x 1/2" (sorry, I'm American and therefore metric-challenged).
