Description: This brooch combines several different clay techniques. The circle is a hollow extruder box whereas the main surface of the brooch is not smooth. The clay was leached and then crackled to get open fissures in places. The chequerboard sits on top of the surface and is slightly shiny,the rest is matt. The brooch can be angled and rotated giving a completley different effect each time.
