Description: Inspired by the sea. For the fabric base of this wristwear, white gauze fabric was colored with blended blue, green, aqua and jade alcohol inks. Then, it was dipped in mica-tinted liquid polymer clay, shaped and twisted around a mold and cured to a stiffer but flexible form. The focal bead was designed over a polished black/gray layered base, then textured with patterns reminiscent of scales, plus actual shell imprints. Selected cavities were filled with mica-tinted liquid polymer and accented with wire wraps of sterling silver and gunmetal black.
