I would like to have seen a full-figure image of this sculpture. The expression on the face is remarkable and conveys the message "Zen" very well--a kind of wise serenity. The contrast of the textures between skin and fur is very stimulating. Regarding craftsmanship, I'm bothered by a couple of very small problems: the roughness of eyelids on the man's right eye (left side of photo) and a small spot of plaquing below the left brow (right side). These are minor, but they do detract from the textural contrast, and somehow smoothness seems to be part of the message of inner peace.
