The focal beads in this necklace are beautifully made. Shapes and sizes form a unified, harmonious design. The mokume gane technique and colors are outstanding! I'm not sure I would have used black for the edges, but it's a popular choice. The only element that seems slightly out of step with the message and design is the use of the faceted beads between elements. To me they seem a bit "dressy" and suggest fire rather than water or earth elements. But it's a necklace anyone would want to wear.
