This piece makes a strong statement; it's Asian-influenced but still very original. The alternation of shapes from top to bottom (rounded, rectangular, rounded, rectangular) with variations in size and texture creates extraordinary balance without symmetry. The use of materials is outstanding. I love the wire-wrapped copper tubing at the throat and the wire wrap around the figure ("sanctuary?"). The only reservation I have is about the wire-wrap and beads used to connect the 3 principle elements. They're a bit "busy"; maybe simple oval jump rings (large ones) would have drawn less attention to themselves.

To me, the title 'The Silence of Sanctuary' better fits your description, but naturally, it is your choice!
